I have talked to you before about approaching women during the day. Whether it’s at a supermarket in the middle of the day, or on the dance-floor at a nightclub, approaching women can be daunting.
The best advice? Be natural!
But that’s easier said than done, right?
In this video (starting at 11 minutes in), I give my tips on how to develop the skills needed to strike up easy and natural conversations with the women you meet:
Steps to being natural
Now, it might seem counterintuitive to give out tips on being natural (you just do it… right?), but as with everything in life, being natural with women is all about practice, practice, practice!
These steps will get you started, and before you know it you’ll be approaching women with ease and confidence, no matter what the situation!
1. Think positive.
This one starts before you even get near a woman. Tell yourself it’s going to be awesome, and it will be awesome! Thinking positive thoughts will help you relax, and your body language will communicate this confidence to the world.
2. Forget the objective.
Don’t approach women as a means to an end – getting her number – but rather as an end in itself. Engage with her for the joy of it: a fun conversation with an attractive woman. And if you get her number at the end? Well, that’s a bonus!
3. Get in her proximity – naturally!
This means no standing nearby looking awkward until she happens to glance in your direction. If you’re out clubbing, stand near her at the bar. Out shopping? Go for something on the same shelf as her. Not only will this make your approach feel more natural (for both of you), it will help to strike up your opening line.
4. Start a conversation.
Begin with something neutral – what you’re doing, your surroundings, whatever. Say what you see! Then it’s easy to move the conversation onto something more personal to her:
“I like how you’re storming around the supermarket – you clearly know what you want!”
5. And when it comes to closing?
Simple! Just let her know you’ve had fun talking and would like to do it again sometime. Keep it simple, keep it natural, and you’ll find that asking for her number really is no big deal!
So there you have it, five simple steps to get yourself started on developing natural ways of approaching women. Want more practice before you go for the real thing? Book yourself a private coaching session with me or one of my coaches!

How to approach someone I wrote to you before on the topic of Approaching women during the day. When it comes to approaching women on the street, my general rule of thumb is: It’s so easy to find a reason NOT to approach a woman during the day that there aren’t any excuses. Bottom line- if you’re attracted to her and want to approach her, then just do it! That doesn't mean I'm a tyrant though. I do get that this is easier said than done. So, I’ve put together some signs you can look out for to make things a little simpler! Signs that someone is open to interact with you Is she walking at a slow pace, looking around, stopping and starting? Maybe even making eye contact with strangers? Or is she walking quickly, eyes down, in work clothes out of the tube at 8:30? One of these women is more likely…
