Overcoming Barriers and Finding Success in Dating: A Testimonial

Dating can often be challenging, especially when you don’t feel well-equipped or confident enough to engage with it. Paul, a PhD student in his early 40s residing in Northern England, was one of my recent Academy graduates and kindly agreed to share his transformative experience with Academy.

Academy is a specialised and holistic 10-week dating training program for men who want to level up their confidence and find a high-quality girlfriend.

Here’s what he had to say:

Hayley: What motivated you to choose our Academy over other available resources for improving your dating life?

Paul: I was drawn to your approach because it felt less prescriptive than other dating advice I had seen. Your content, whether it’s on YouTube or through webinars, emphasized tapping into one’s strengths rather than conforming to a rigid standard. It was this personalized aspect that convinced me to join, and I wasn’t disappointed.

Hayley: Were there any apprehensions or worries that you faced prior to enrolling in the program?

Paul: Yes, I had quite a few reservations. The biggest concerns were whether I was too far behind other participants and how my anxiety would cope with the live sessions. Thankfully, the course was designed to accommodate these worries, making it a rewarding experience for me.

“I didn’t know if I would be too far behind and able to catch up”

Hayley: Could you shed some light on the various subjects and topics you explored during the course?

Paul: The program was very holistic. We started with belief-shaping mantras and even had a week dedicated to fashion. One of the highlights for me was gaining a female perspective on dating. The interactive sessions, combined with a supportive WhatsApp group, offered multi-faceted insights that I found incredibly useful.

Challenges and Triumphs

The live weekend was a hurdle, especially that initial Friday night. Yet, it was also the most rewarding. The environment pushed me outside of my comfort zone, allowing me to accumulate valuable real-world experience.

Hayley: Was there anything about the course that took you by surprise?

Paul: The breadth of the program and the speed at which I progressed were surprising. I also found out that I’m better at socializing in noisy indoor settings than I initially thought, despite my introverted nature and anxiety issues.

Hayley: What has completing the Academy helped you achieve?

It has instilled a sense of confidence and reduced self-doubt.

Paul: It has instilled a sense of confidence and reduced self-doubt. The program essentially changed my perspective on dating, shifting it from a challenge to an opportunity.

Hayley: Any advice for those contemplating joining the Academy?

Paul: I’d say just go for it. The program helps you understand not just what to do but how to do it. It’s like gaining a superpower in dating.

Hayley: Lastly, could you summarize your Academy experience in a single word?

Paul: Belief in myself.
